Researcher
Maša Hribar is a researcher at the Nutrition institute. She is a part of the national research program 'Nutrition and public health' and several other projects such as the National Food and Nutrition website - www.PREHRANA.si, which provides credible and reliable information on food and nutrition to Slovenian citizens; Collection of data on available pre-packed foods on the market in Slovenia, using the Composition and Labeling Information System (CLAS); and NUTRIHEALTH - Nutrition of adults as a safety factor or factor of health risks. She is also working as a supervisor for the internship of students in food and nutrition-related studies. She graduated from the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, at the Department of Food, she also studied at the University of Iceland, where she worked as a researcher in the field of nutrition. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate working on the topic: Parameters of Vitamin D Status Among the Adult Slovenian Population.
